I think Hakkai is sooo gorgeous in his demon form that I had to put him in demon form twice in my story, A Brand New Life.

Be honest with me...just how hard is Japanese to learn?
My kids love to see how words are written in either Kanji or Katakana or Hiragana. We had a Japanese foreign exchange student when I was in high school and I remember being facinated with the writing. Even though she stayed with us over 24 years ago, I always remembered how to say Konichiwa.

And now, that we watch a lot of anime, I'm picking up phrases and words...Ura Sai...(Thanks, Sanzo!) and my son just loves to tell me harahetta! (Thanks Goku!) My daughter watches the Fruits Basket episode where a bunch of them go to an Onsen and one character, Momiji, sings a little song. She has the song memorized in Japanese! She wants to move to Japan when she gets older (she's 7) and I told her she's going to have to learn a lot more then Harahetta, Ura Sai and Konichiwa!

And thank you for sending me a note about what happens in vol 8 of Reload. I thought about asking you to just post it here, but some people don't like to see spoilers posted, so that's why I thought I'd ask you to send me a note.
